Well, it's not yet a whole year later!

So the large time-gap since my last posting has been filled with working (public service staff at a public library) and grad school (UA's SLIS program).

So while I have completed a couple of course toward my MLIS degree, I also just landed a job cleaning up customer and bibliographic databases for the library's migration to a new ILS. That will be not only great experiece toward becoming comfy with dBases, but I think it's going to be fun as well.

Books to read: for professional developmental: Ambient Findability, by Peter Morville. For personal development: Cindy Thomas Pankopf's "Beadmaille: Jewelry with Bead Weaving & Metal Rings.

I begin this blog and entitle it "Let's Manage Some Knowledge" just so it's always in the forefront of my thoughts that Knowledge Management is the focus of my studies and career.
